Iron Banner rewards don't feel good.
In the past Events like Iron Banner were always the time to level grind stuff. The Armor set looks interesting, and the perk on them sounds fun. But. The rewards feel terrible.
4 items are dropping each run for me. 2 of those items are always 10 Below my light level. The ONE Iron Banner item only drops at my light level. And the last reward, is dropping at +1 only when I win a match.
That makes this event the worst way to progress in the game right now. What's the point of playing pvp matches when I'd level up faster and get higher tier rewards from just running Solo Ops again. At least do the +1 tier rewards like your did with Soltise. At this rate. The event is completely pointless to take part in. Even If I grinded all week. I wouldn't be a high enough light level to grind for Tier 5 rewards in Iron Banner. It's killing my motivation. And Iron Banner was an event that I used to love.

Yeah frankly at this point I really don't care about power anymore I just care about get in tier 4 and tier 5 gear which I got a few from iron banner I got the new hand cannon t4 with heal clip and Magnificent howl. I even got the new iron banner armor as tier 4.

Crucible drops are based on your performance.

Idk, I'm GR9 and 426 power, getting a lot of good loot, often 2 items with +1 power and also got two T5 +3 prime pieces in like 10 games, even though I'm fairly mediocre at best.

8 RepliesJust remember it's not so much about your power it's about your guardian rank you need to be at least 400 power and guardian rank 9 to get a constant wave of tier 4 and tier 5 gear. Some people don't understand that. Just like to reach guardian rank 10 you have to be a little bit over 500 power. Even from iron banner I got mida shotgun tier 4 and the shoreline sniper tier 5.
