Iron Banner Armor Situation is an Unrecoverable Breach of Trust

Yes, taking new armor out of Iron Banner and putting a fat price tag on it is bad. Worse than this, we must now re-assess whether previous armor sets have also been taken out of the loot pool and placed in the store, because remember, they were very confident they could get away with this, so in all likelihood, they have done this before. An immediate example that comes to mind is Season 12's Izanagi's Burden armor, when Izanagi's Burden was featured in the emote and ghost projection in the season pass, but the ornaments were the season defaults with bones and other existing assets glued on, while the Izi armor was mysteriously allocated to eververse. We cannot know moving forward whether Bungie is honest in reskinning things or if armor has been "reassigned" to the storefront. And why should we believe anything they say when addressing this issue, when they are willing to engage in lies of omission in attempts to delete the evidence. It is not 1980, we have easily accessible and perfectly-preserved records of action online; there are thousands of people watching like hawks, waiting to catalog any and all breaches of trust like this one. I don't think you could rectify this situation even if you made every single item, ornament for every gun, and piece of armor free. Better prepare those golden parachutes.
