Destiny 2 pvp has something built in for forced losses. I've had so many Crucible matches, where at least one player from my team gets kicked, so the enemy team can win.
Just had a match where we were leading 126 - 88. Then suddenly 2 players from my team get kicked and we loose.
This is happening in too many matches. Is it my fiber optics 1.4 gb A+++ wired internet or what? Destiny 2 is forcing me to loose way too often 😡

Edited by Blackout: 9/16/2025 12:42:12 AMI've assumed it's their anti cheat banning people live. With the unfortunate side effects of a legit player taking a probable loss. It's the only thing that makes sense. The idea of them removing teammates to make it more difficult is ridiculous. Matchmaking can already put you at a disadvantage just by giving you lesser skilled players than the other team. It happens all the time in Trials because it isn't skill based where one team can get completely stomped. It's not necessary to do what you suggested. If this is their anti cheat system it is a good thing. Despite the casualties along the way. Getting clarification from them on what is happening would be helpful though.

Edited by NerfPaladins06: 9/16/2025 1:15:33 AMYou seem to be guessing this via how it feels. But get this: Bungie actually admitted to forced losses years ago. Not via kicking though, but tailoring your matches based on how many times you've won in a row.

I don't know about all of that, but I do notice that the game has a catch-up spawn mechanic. If you're losing, the game will give you a more favorable spawn point. I take advantage of this sometimes in control when my team is losing. I'll save my super and allow the enemy to get a power play. Then the game gives us better spawns and we reverse the power play on them and win. One good sweep through the enemy team with a super or two usually seals the deal. If you ever have a match where the enemy team starts fighting back harder against you, this is usually why. The game will give them a better spawn. I've also figured out that the spawns will happen according to where your team is mostly located in the map. It will always spawn them the furthest from you. It only deviates sometimes, when the catch-up mechanic kicks in and will spawn one enemy in your spawn. That usually happens about twice a game in control.

There definitely are palpable surges that the game seems to enforce at certain scores. Like an opposing player who previously couldn't hit a cows rse with a banjo, suddenly turns into a demi-god. Or I suddenly get all of my shots actually registering like it's telling me they have. Or suddenly, they don't. And it's not just happening to one player, it can be seen on the scoreboard. Flipping before your very eyes

😆 I laugh because I felt like that since the beginning

I honestly dont see an issue with that
