Edited by Griever: 9/15/2025 6:56:26 PM* Grind became worse both in difficulty and progression. The only way to progress is to always buff the enemy to the point they're raid bosses and/ or nerf yourself into oblivion. It's not fun, it's not fair, if I should have to fight enemies 30-100 levels above me to level up ONE SLOT, the loot that drops should be a lot higher than +1 or +3. No other game I know of disrespects our time like this * Still need to do lfg for 90% of activities with bonus engrams, and matchmaking gives people who leave early or waste all your lives more than half the time * Buggy missions like the fallen boss on caldera or now contest of elders disconnecting you * New crossbow which is needed to maximize rewards without having to buff the enemy to godhood is almost impossible to get * Pvp still shows no signs of improvement * People are showing screenshots of trials reports on reddit showing somehow worse players, I'm talking 0.57 kd somehow having stupidly high win rates, indicating something's still most likely not working right * Scamming players with that new iron banner armor in eververse * With how terribly Ash and Iron launched, it's no wonder why they FINALLY, after almost 10 years released a taken shader and armor set, but the former lacks the seeping darkness effects and are even now selling the Witcher armor pieces for bright dust * Supposedly the current event isn't dropping ANY T5 event loot regardless of level unless it's a prime drop, which they have yet to address in any capacity when this event is ending in 1 more day * Stupidly short timers on too many missions * No new catalyst for any pre-EOF weapon like there was supposed to be * Slower than ever communication and most of it is them nerfing everything, then walking back some of it It's no wonder numbers are so low. Hell, I finally started playing Clair Obscur since a couple days before A&I and I'd agree with my brother that the devs could've easily sold this for more along with other micro transactions on it. It'd be a better investment than a game that keeps getting worse and worse to the point the only things that MIGHT save Destiny are Sony fully taking over (and players must be REALLY desperate since we're hoping for it) or they finally make Destiny 3. I'm -blam!- and I find myself wanting to play this game less and less because even after they say they fixed the grind, I feel like I'm banging my head against a wall because they keep making so many bad decisions and forcing so many limitations on us.

Edited by NightTerrorOG: 9/16/2025 9:23:34 PMI love this game. It’s the best game ever.

Sad and most irritating thing is there are content creators that support us and agree with us yet they turn around and buy the stuff anyway. Like I like Chibirobo don't grt me wrong but I think even he disagreed with the eververse stuff uet next episode I watch he does his wallet gag. And I understand it's their money but it's just... who's side are you on

*willing to pay $20 for cosmetics No players WILLING to pay $20 for cosmetics = No Eververse That's the complete sentence Conversely: Players WILLING to pay $20 = Eververse It's supply and demand, Spider told ya that.

To whoever down voted. For the first time in a decade, I have zero players playing across 2 accounts. This is absolutely damning.

I've done ~10 reclaim runs this week and more than half of them had someone wearing taken armor set so unfortunately the premise is not true (I wish it were)

Umm, no. People need to stop buying stuff at Eververse. It doesn't matter how many people are actually playing. There could be fifty people playing Destiny, but if those are the whales who buy out everything new in Eververse day one of new items, then Bungie will keep it open for business.

the intentional game design is to make the dopamine drip so thin and anemic that players are motivated to go to the cash shop for a nice big dopamine hit this also motivates the suits to push anything truly rewarding ONLY into the cash shop this is also why, when a live service is declining, the suits always mega amp up the grind systems. they know it will chase some players away, sometimes a LOT of players, but all they care about is increasing cash shop revenue and stripmining the left over players most players don't buy much on the cash shop, however the true addicts that keep playing on crazy grindy systems tend to spend more as they are truly addicted to the dopamine and aren't getting it in the game

Actually, I'm pretty sure it'll mean MORE Everworse.
