Just quit the grinding by not running in the hamsterwheel. As long as Bungie see in the activity logs that people stay in the game for longer aiming for grinding and aiming on a high light level and using the modifiers for making the activity more difficult in order to get better loot, that is what they will concentrate on developing for. They will move the carrot further and further away in order to keep the players online grinding making them more money. If people stop grinding they will eventually focus on other things in the game like the story, maps and better activities, hopefully.
