I submitted a ban appeal over a month ago and I still haven’t heard anything. I don’t know why exactly I was banned, but I’m willing to work with bungie to prove that was a mistake. I play on Xbox so there’s no chance of me cheating. Could someone from the community team please follow up?

Hello there, Thanks for reaching out. If you incurred a ban, the way to contact our Security team about it is through the Appeal Ban or Restriction Contact Form. If you have already submitted a ticket, you have done all you can, and will need to wait for a response. Ban appeals are not conducted on the forums.

Could you do us a favor & go into your bungie account settings to make your game progress & activities not private?

Just because you don’t cheat doesn’t mean someone in your fireteam wasn’t cheating. Playing in a premade fireteam with a cheater (obvious or not) is grounds for getting banned. How well do you know the players in your contest mode raid group?

Hey there. The forum is unable to assist with ban appeals - no one here can look into it or expedite it, it's in the hands of the relevant team. Bungie only responds to a ban appeal if they intend to overturn the ban, or require further information. As per the information on the form, the ban reason is not given and requests for this info will be ignored. If Bungie doesn't get back in contact within 4-6 weeks then it can be assumed the ban was upheld. They are leaving the appeal tickets open, I believe to help when repeat appeals get submitted.
