The recent changes to the reward system have fundamentally broken the progression towards high-tier rewards, making it impossible to earn an A+ rank. The previous system, where players could earn an A rank by performing well on a lower difficulty, no longer works.
**Problem Description:**
Previously, a player could set the difficulty level to achieve a B+ reward. By completing side quests and performing well, they could earn enough points to upgrade their reward rank to an A or A+. This allowed for a challenging but rewarding progression.
The current system seems to have removed this. A full score is no longer enough to reach an A rank. Even with a perfect run, the reward is capped at what was initially set (e.g., a B+ reward is now a guaranteed B+ reward).
This change makes the highest rewards (A, A+) practically unattainable for many players and removes a key element of the gameplay loop that rewarded skill and performance.
**Expected Behavior:**
Completing an activity with a full score and bonus objectives should still have the potential to upgrade the final reward rank, as it did before. The reward rank should be a reflection of performance and not a static, predetermined outcome.
