DeaDeactivating one of the connected accounts for Cross-play
Hello everyone,
I need to resolve an issue with unlinking a Steam account from Bungie's Cross-Play system. The Steam account will soon be deleted, but I haven’t been able to remove it from my Bungie account. Although Bungie mentions a 90-day period for this process, there’s no visible progress, countdown, notification—nothing at all on the website.
So I’m asking: has anyone else experienced this issue, or is there an administrator who could help me deactivate the Steam link?
It seems Bungie is clearly having problems with bugs.

Since March 25th's [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/35597981889300-Notice-Bungie-net-Account-Unlinking-Update-on-March-25-2025]unlinking update[/url], only Twitch accounts are now eligible to be unlinked from Bungie profiles. All other platform accounts, once linked, are linked permanently. Further, as Bungie entrusts players with the security and management regarding linking their accounts, we do not unlink any accounts on players' behalf. Thus, the Steam account in question will remain linked. Therefore, it may be prudent to cancel its deletion.

Hello there[url=https://tuxydoh.com/images/hi.gif],[/url] You cannot deactivate cross save for a single account. Deactivation of cross save impacts all linked accounts, returning the active characters and progress to being accessed only on their originating platforms. Also, to add to this, as of March 25 of this year all linked accounts are permanently bound to your Bungie.net profile, so the Steam account in question will always remain linked to your current profile.
