Bat and Anteater

Received anteater error and was disconnected from a comp match. It brought me back in and then another error code (Bat) kicked me again for the game and was unable to join. It then states I quit the match and get penalized and lose comp points. This should not ding me for something out of my control. I’ve check my connection and it is perfectly fine. It appears this is a destiny server issue, not my connection that is causing this.

 • Hi there, Thanks for reaching out. Anteater and Bat errors are indeed indicative of network issues, even if your connection seems fine at a glance. These can be caused by problems affecting your specific network hardware, packet loss, or greater issues affecting your ISP which are being passed on to you. To that point, we recommend consulting our Network Troubleshooting Guide to explore potential solutions. If that doesn't help, the next step would be checking our Optimizing Connections page. Following that, if issues still persist, we would recommend reaching out to your ISP for more hands-on assistance in troubleshooting your network setup.
