Throwing knives pvp
Whoever on the sandbox team decided to buff the tracking of these in pvp needs to leave with Pete Parsons.

2 RepliesThey should have banned gunslinger from trials as a lot of people have abused this and this is truly why we struggle to get trials players to play. This really takes the fun out of it we should as a community stop abusing the broken mechanics and that might attract more players

Although I’m a Hunter main yes the HC throwing knife is a issue but also titan bolt charge still a issue and the solar warlock long melee and fusion combo is also a issue

Throwing knives are completely busted in pvp currently… Bungo has created a huge imbalance in the present pvp meta (while at the same time nerfing special ammo economy).

1 ReplyI gave it a try, and while I like it, in my experience the aim assist of the knife is nowhere near as broken as what streamers made it sound. I had multiple throw fly by guardian very close. So maybe it’s been adjusted for already, or it only works great for cheaters. The combo is powerful though with Aureus HC and trench barrel, basically knife -> one tap.

I mean I have went against them and honestly? Meh? And that’s not me being biased as a hunter as I rarely used the throwing knife, more of a smoke bomb to the face kinda hunter But I have killed hunters who heavily rely on them by just shooting them, since their damage buff and damage really don’t matter when they are pretty much dead and you just go along with your day they have killed me and honestly I didn’t even care, just got back up and just kept trying I was using the strand pulse rifle from trials with with the pain and kill clip, pretty much said “hit me I dare you” and a beloved and just dominant and the only maps I lost were maps that pretty much everyone disliked like the one is the hive world and I can’t recall the other

Worst Flawless run I ever had. I'm actually done with PvP forever now. Doesn't help that the chest rewards were insulting. I'm just tired of Bungie contradicting their "abilities should not solve fights against players" design philosophy 🥱

This... Throwing knives/thrown melees, smoke nades (and plenty of other nades), the other crazy stuff that can proc trench barrel on the neverending spreadshot hand cannons, mask of bakris, invis, and even the occasional bolt charge... My goodness this has been a sweaty weekend. Don't get me started on the console players that move in a way that reminds me very much of when I played on pc... *cough cough* Don't get me wrong... I'll still play it, but I'm a bit of a masochist.

Probably the same genius who put all that work into a special ammo meter, because special ammo was being used too much and then when it finally released out of testing, they were like hey, a primary ammo 2 tap hand cannon shotgun. N let's not fix mnk hip fire aim assist.

Yes it’s way too good. Main issue is the ability uptime. I use prismatic warlock with necrotic grip, the melee works great too but you can’t spam it nearly as much.

17 RepliesIts not just it can one shot you, its the fact that they can spam them so often no other class has anything similar to that. Titans yeah they have barricade but you can play around that. Warlocks…we have nothing to be honest. Electric surge will get yourself killed more than actually getting a kill. You can’t even 1 tap on arc or prismatic with 200 melee. The void melee is a 50/50 on tracking and the only other thing we have is rift….which will also you get you killed 😂
