Trials is AWFUL
I suffered through 7 wins. And I think it's terrible. Worse than ever since they opened it up to matchmaking
- Never got solstice loot from it through all 7 wins, losses and lighthouse combined
- Got only tier 4 loot (400, GR 9), yes, I know how T5 drops from trials, yes I'm awful at it...but it's that much worse of an experience because of the -blam!- rewards
- I had a win streak of two and got a TIER 3 MAER UNDER LEVEL and an ascendant shard. That's it. I couldn't hate Destiny any more than I do right now
Why not just kick me in the balls for all the trouble that was?

The only thing I think anyone can agree on is the rewards regardless of skill is lacking a lot compared to last expansion

1 ReplyHot take, the special ammo meter revealed how terrible 90% of the population has become. And I'm willing to bet that a vast majority of your complete stomps was simply because the losing team refused to push because they are more afraid of dying than losing. More often than not, I'll watch a team throw a game by having a 2v1 and refusing to push, allowing the enemy to get a 2v2 or 2v3. From my experience, the meta and even mm is actually doing okay, not great, but okay. It's rare I get a teammate that's actually dog sh!+ at the game, rather, thier just cowards

6 Replies- There was no Solstice engram for the activity the entire weekend, so not sure why you thought you'd get one. - Even at 400/9, the Tier 5 drops are just going to be Prime engram drops mostly. - Lighthouse seems like you need a 5-win streak. I had one and got a Tier 5 Unwavering Duty and Tier 5 Cloak from the Lighthouse Chest. I admit that is asking a lot considering there's no mercy anymore. The point of the card changes were supposed to be about making it more inviting to more casual players. That being said...you dont need Tier 5 weapons. I know nobody wants to hear that, but the Tier 4 weapons and armor were dropping after every match. Can't complain about that.
