I honestly don’t think I’ll play if I get reset to 200. This grind was crazy and I’m only 350. Just don’t know if I can do it again.

Ok, bye

Byeeee

Im up to 415 and I feel the same way. There's just no chance I can or will want to do this again so soon.
-
I have hit 200 and stopped playing because I think this progression system is purely based on engagement time rather than enjoyment or skill.

Edited by Regret: 8/16/2025 8:01:59 AMThis is another choice I don’t get…. Grind has become the content…. Sadly….I don’t feel this is sustainable for very long even the most “dedicated” of players may start to give up!

Playing tells Bungie you like this 💩 - 8/16/2025 9:26:57 AM
I don’t blame you. I quit after my characters were reset to 10. -
Same here this reset is stupid....im barely 250 just dont have the motivation to play game the story is not coherent at all full of holes...but like good ole Pete says " only thr best is working on destiny " that's why it's full of bugs 😉
-
It would be great if we only losse 1/2 on power level progression. Like 550 > 375.
-
I did it so I’d have tier 4 armor,in case Bungie decides to change everything back.Next “season” I’ll stop leveling early (dismantle higher level drops).

Bungie: You must

I just found out about this. They're insane if they think we are all just going to jump on this hamster wheel.
-
With the removal of unstable cores, will EoF weapons and armour be upgradeable once Renegades drops 🤔
-
The question is, would you rather. 1) let it go up to 450. Then Renegades has a similarly painful grind up to 700. Meaning anyone who doesn't grind to max out falls further and further behind. Also Bungie have a wider range of power levels in the playerbase to balance out. ... Or ... 2) reset to 200. Have the same 250 point grind. But activity power levels stay consistent for both existing and newer players It works out the same for both. But 2 is just easier for everyone.
-
Between the Power Reset and the controversial nature of the DLC, it'll be interesting to see just how drastic the dropoff of players will be with Renegades.
-
I don't mind power itself resetting. What I do mind is losing the ability to get t5's and having to work through the difficulty ladder again just to regain the ability to get them.
-
You will get reset.

Oh you will, and you'll love it 👌
