I swear these games are predetermined and nothing will change my mind. Every game is either us blowing out the enemy team or them blowing us out. Theres no in between. Yesterday I played and I was averaging a 2kd easy for most games except for the ones we lost where I’d get a .3 or a .4 because there was nothing I could do. Today I was one game from adept (solo player) I won 1 game the whole time I played today. It just felt like I couldn’t do anything. Idk if my skill level dropped over night. If my IQ just went down 100 points and I stopped being able to aim, stopped any kind of game sense. I couldn’t do a thing today. Kd average was maybe .3 beside the single game I won. The least fun I ever had on the game in my life. Matchmaking never changed either. Same guys that dicked me down in one match were in my next one. Stacked teams after stacked teams. Teammates leaving, nobody going for objective. It was hell on earth. It got to the point where I was so mad I just couldn’t play at all. Every lane I peeked I get gunned down instantly by multiple outbreaks and pulse rifles. Anytime I hide behind a wall I get ability spammed. You might think like oh just hit your shots. I had time to get one shot off before getting killed. Other times I’d be flinched into the heavens. “What about teammates to help?”. Nope, they’re off doing god knows what, or dead. Not a thing I can do. I’ve been playing destiny for 10 years and I don’t think it’s ever gotten as bad as it has tonight. I deleted the game and won’t be back for a while. Obviously I will eventually because it’s an addiction and you can never escape bungie. But I’m going to enjoy life without destiny for as long as it lasts. In the meantime I’m praying that this gets better. Trials is actually enjoyable if you’re not playing for lighthouse. Skill based matchmaking on the trials cards, evenly matched games. I actually enjoyed trials for the first time last weekend. But then I went back to comp and everything just came crashing down. Hopefully this will get a change but I doubt it. Bungie will probably just add a new overpowered ability or gun, lock it behind a paywall and call it a day. Game is going downhill fast and I don’t think it’s getting better anytime soon. Anyways that’s my rant so thanks for listening to my TED talk. You can say whatever mean things you want to me in the comments because after tonight I’m questioning everything to do with that game. Maybe I just suck, or maybe this is an issue other people are going through too. Guess I’ll have to find out
