like an end of the day unwind. Now it’s like an end of the day water boarding session.
- grading system needs to go (most kills, lowest score?)
- ghost mods don’t work (waste of mats)
- featured gear (prohibits buildcraft, waste of mats)
- solo ops suck (boring af repetitive slop)
- forced modifiers are lame (disables buildcraft)
- screebs need to be trashed
- -blam!- spawning adds are not smart, are annoying
- dps bosses slower to kill more adds for score lame af
- adds spamming teleport lame af, not smart
- light level penalties for playing with friends and fam
- Orbs Created no longer shown after runs (why?)
- rampant nerfs and neglected needed fixes
Being a guardian used to feel fun and powerful.
Now it feels like a ragtag band of communists who have spent years chipping away at a beautiful product and community have been throned upon the ash heap with infinite salt in hand.

Whilst I enjoyed the seasonal story (it helps that I’ve played a LOT of Metroid), since then I’m just…lost… I say this as a September 2014 D1 player Don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing from here, why I’m supposed to be doing it, how new armour works or why I should (or shouldn’t) use it and there is little to nothing in game that I can see pointing me in any specific directions The saddest part of all of this is that I’m just not really that bothered about any of it. It feels like D2 is starting to run its course for me…

This game used to FUN and ENGAGING!! But this ship has sailed. Bungie stopped listening to average players a long time ago! Harder is obviously better!? Because: More Grind is getting them more money, right? Because everyone who used to play is flocking back to pick this back up, right? Fewer rewards is a good thing that players have been screaming for, right?
-
Agree. Bungie should have just left everything alone, but they wanted to do it the easy way of recycled content vs new creative content. However, I can’t help to think this is being done on purpose. “How to ruin a long standing gaming franchise in one month” by Bungie

It’s a sad time to be a player, I still remember the good times, not sure we’ll ever get near those days again
-
Concurrent player numbers on steam continues to fall. 45k peak last 24 hours. All time peak for EoF is 108k.
-
Agreed. Wasted so many mats. It’s a chore
-
But expensive cars… the game is passive income funding the expensive hobbies outside the studio. The focus is to get and make money… all about money. Passive income. It’s passive income. That’s why Sony is taking over.
like an end of the day unwind. Now it’s like an end of the day water boarding session.
Nailed it !

Agreed. They depend on the streamers to sell their game for them now. They got the check, they don't care. It's all about the money. Greed has consumed them. They got by for so long with half@$$ ways of creating content, they got complacent. Recycled locations, weapons, armor, etc. Then "resell". Profit. That's all it is to them now. No more heart in it.
-
The game has lost its magic. I’m really hoping Borderlands 4 is good.
-
This game used to be fun.
-
The game just sucks! Glad I didn’t buy the DLC

+1 on most modifiers need to go. I understand “void damage increase” or “enemies have more health”, “lock loadout”… because they inform your build. But some of them are just ridiculous: spawn screeb on death, low gravity, player who score most kills take more damage… their nature make it impossible to build against, so it’s just a hindrance and not a challenge. Like running a race with your shoe laces. These need to be removed from playlist and kept as an option only.

Remember when all the solo players complained that Bungie hates solo players... and its not fair to have exotic missions which require you to be on a fireteam etc etc ... well, now they've made it so that the only efficient way to level up is just solo grinding in the salt mines.
-
Sooner Sony cleans house the better.
-
Tbh, I've been playing BF6 instead.
-
I mean I feel pretty powerful, there’s a lot they need to fix but I feel like a lot of this is just being too dramatic
-
Bungie’s response to the current feedback over the next 6 months will decide the games future. Currently as it is I have lost all desire to play it. I will be off work for a few weeks stuck on the sofa (recovering from surgery) so will try getting into it etc. once the opioids wear off and matterspark doesn’t make me vomit.
-
Don't forget you can spend hours doing solo ops and fireteam ops and only gain 5 levels. How am i supposed to be able to do Master content to get the Solstice title if it takes me days just to get even close to the 300 mark. I got a late start starting just after august but that's only 2 weeks. I don't have the new dlc yet so idk if that's holding me back or not.
-
- endless and unaddressed cheating - useless Fireteam Finder - lack of players for activities (How does Control time out?) I think more a ragtag band of corporates who've slowly degraded a once great game for profit
-
Liberalism is the new fascism and I guess we will have to suck it up
-
Y'all still here complaining?? It's actually laughable that you think they care.

Well said
like an end of the day unwind. Now it’s like an end of the day water boarding session. ……Being a guardian used to feel fun and powerful..
That first line was awesome. Made me laugh. Even if the reality is not very funny for many of us. Yeah, fun isn’t really a priority these days.

It definitely sucks trying to find something else that used to be the fun distraction from reality that destiny was.
