We NEED more ways to earn resource drops: Ascendant Shards, Alloy, Cores, Prisms.
Pre EoF, we had nightfalls that reliable dropped most of these resources. Even ritual playlist would regularly drops cores and prisms, but now we have no reliable way to earn these resources besides 4 gunsmith bounties and farming master lost sectors which is also unreliable and offers nothing else of value under the new system.
This is especially bad given how expensive it is to masterwork T4 &5 weapons and armor.
Its sad when I have to wait for an event,just to stock up on resources by using the event currency to buy them through the event store.

My man no, I get ascendant alloys and prisms everytime I play solo ops on GM and A rank it. Doesn't need an adjustment.

Also if you masterwork new gear and you decide to dismantle said gear because it was a lower tier you should get back what you put in. Or better yet they should have an option button to "infuse" the masterwork into the new gear! That would help immensely!

I legit have no issues with the resources in this expansion compared to before EoF. I may run into this issue more when I start getting a lot of tier 5s that are both stats I need and stats I want to tune for builds, but so far not a issue compared to before. I will give credit though, as getting one about every ten to fifteen runs of solo ops compared to like three per speed-ran grandmasters, probably doesn’t feel that great. especially because it’s not a guaranteed drop anymore.

I have them dropping quite frequently. Even from killing adds. Yellow bars at times drop exotic golf balls. They're the only thing I start to run low on but they drop from activities and killing enemies now. I spent a couple million glimmer the other day buying them from Rahool. He is the easiest source if you have materials to burn for glimmer to buy cores and shards, golf balls and whatnot

2 RepliesYour ghost now has a mod for enhancement cores to drop.Ops can drop prisms and ascendant shards if you score high enough. solo and fireteam ops also only drop techsec armor so if you wear that set while farming ops and infuse with the armor that drops you will only need glimmer to infuse. I wore the 4 piece set plus my exotic helmet infusing as i went and swapping out for higher tier items as the dropped and dismantling all the lower level trash for unstable cores. I'm 436 sitting on just under 500k unstable cores.
