It’s sickening how when something is broken in this game, they somehow can’t find the time or resources to fix it, but when something benefits us in a positive way, it gets patched immediately.
but when something benefits us in a positive way, it gets patched immediately.
Not always. Quite a few instances where it took a little while to fix bugs that benefited the players. Just of the top my head.... Wish ender doing 3x damage took a few weeks to fix when it was busted a few years back. OG whisper and outbreak missions had a bug where the activity didn't account for light level rise at the time and players still to took the same damage but could absolutely destroy anything due to a much higher light than what the activities were set at. Most recently, new exotic scout had 1 or 2 weeks, I think it was 2 of being extremely OP. Things get disabled immediately if they can be, patches take sometime no matter if it benefits or disadvantages the player People that parrot the nonsense you said only remember the bad never the good.

Skarrow and a bunch of his friends did a test on this. I think it was 125 or so drops with every ghost mod equipped and it seems that they are working BUT, they aren’t very effective. With no mod you have a 1/6 chance of getting the archetype you want but with the mod on it seems to change to 1/4. He said the testing needs to be a lot more intensive for more accurate results but this is a good indicator that the issue isn’t that they aren’t working, but the fact that they are tuned too low. Just another method of artificial play time.

theyre working as intended to increase player engagement. not broken. just deceptive

Exactly, am tired of getting Bulwark drops. Like, literally everything is Bulwark.
-
They have been broke since inception. They NEVER worked as advertised. Bungie has not fixed and will not fix them!
-
It took them 5 years to acknowledge the high frame rate pc crash bug so wish in one hand and.... well you know how it goes. They'd be pulling OT if the ghost mods affected the eververse store though. Lol.

Apparently it does “work” but like some of the other changes that occurred it marginally increases it. Like in actuality you’ll notice maybe like 10% of a higher chance of it being the one you selected but for sure is not guaranteed. Even then that 10% is actually more like 1% in practice… Another example of this is the recuperation mod. It works, but now because health basically took over its role as a basic stat they made recuperation heal so little health it’s not worth even having it.

It would help the players so it’ll be at least 3 months before it gets addressed.

Fixing an exploit extends the grind. Fixing a bug shortens it. Simple as that sadly.

100% agree normal for bungie, they fix things that are fun and things that need fixing they don’t.
