Let me preface by saying that I'm aware that some people are going to say "you should play with a fireteam" but I shouldn't have to play with a fireteam on campaign missions at any difficulty. I've been playing since D1 beta and am not going into activities under-geared or without having built top tier loadouts.
Onto the actual feedback:
1. Damage output on Mythic difficulty feels worse than playing Halo 2 LASO which wasn't really fun then and isn't fun now. Having to melee a dreg 3 times and a vandal 6 times isn't a fun challenge, it's miserable.
2. Enemies are bullet sponges. Pumping a full clip of Commemoration into a yellow bar vandal isn't fun and doesn't make the game more challenging. It makes it annoying.
3. Enemies hit like a truck. I'm all for being strategic but if I'm in a darkness zone and surrounded by sniper shanks with ZERO cover and get 1 shot... where is the challenge? Where is the overcoming a tough situation? There isn't one. You just die. Over and over and over.
4. -50 power is egregious. Being 50 power under is a choice that someone or a few someones at Bungie clearly made as a middle finger to the player because I cannot see another reason to do this.
The Final Shape was such a step in the right direction from a balance and respect for the players time. It feels like we've taken a HUGE step backwards in that regard. It shouldn't take me an hour to do a solo campaign mission on Mythic only to get stuck at the boss encounter (which takes forever also due to boss health).
The TL;DR is that there needs to be balance. If enemies hit so hard that I die instantly, give them less health. If they have a bazillion health, make them hit less hard. I'm not asking for a total nerf and to make it easy but please respect your players time investment into the game. We're not all *insert streamer name here* and have nothing else to do.

At the risk of starting something better left alone, am I the only one who wonders just how many D1 Beta/D1 Day 1 players have never completed a dungeon or any sort of endgame content?
