I'm completely convinced that bungie doesn't have team balancing in any mode. I've tried playing pvp for a good bit this season and whats evidently clear, is that it doesnt have an once of a system to balance teams. Nearly every single match I've played this season has been a complete stomp. I've been trying to play pvp with my friend that normally plays pve, not a very high mmr, mine isn't crazy either, I dont play as much, it was above average a long while ago, I have no clue what is now. Long story short is, me and my friend combined have decently lowwer mmr compared to the enemy nearly every single time. So normally it's a duo vs duo and 2 solos. The duo having higher mmr isn't even the problem, because if the team based matchmaking worked at all, it would put the best solo on our team and the lesser one on the other team. But that never happens. Not in trials, not in comp, not even in control. Every single time I join a match, the best players with the highest mmr are almost exclusively on the other team and I'm left fighting for my life to carry or just taking the loss. There's very little times where it hasn't worked in that manner, and it's been like this for years. Its rarely ever a "good match" the games are almost always unbalanced, and my luck is so bad with coin flips, I could bet on the 1 good random always going to the already stacked 2 stack. I have no idea what the system is using to balance teams, but it's working backwards if it's working at all
