That is all. Simple feedback. The Portal was promoted / presented to us as being a tool of simplification to make activities easier for new people to get into them. Instead it overstepped into being a complete sunset of most of the game. Previously matchmade activities really would benefit from being reverted to their previous state. Just being able to go to the node, select the thing, and get matchmaking is a far better experience. Yes, there is fireteam finder but that presents it’s own problems with power level and reward tier. Matchmaking needs to try to group ppl together of similar power level, so it doesn’t skew the Grade Level and therefore the Reward. This is all particularly true for Onslaught. By this update, it was made less balanced, less accessible, less varied, and far less rewarding. Completely broke something that was not in need of anything except being consolidated together, minus the Mothyards map. Onslaught, Coil, Battlegrounds should all have matchmaking on ALWAYS. If someone wants to do their own fireteam, then just select custom and it turns off the matchmaking. Problem solved.
