7 new armor sets, STILL NO VAULT SPACE
I’ve been vault locked for roughly 3 years now. Bungie has forced me to delete god roll after god roll since lightfall and this has left a terrible taste in my mouth and a permanent stain on their image..
So what do they do? They 1-up the already terrible situation and make it worse by adding 6 or 7 new armor sets with NO VAULT EXPANSION

10 roll possibilities (more like 20 per slot)

Why are you forcing me to delete items one by one I’ve held for years in the first place? Items at one point, you made me grind for?
Is it because you are re-releasing old weapons for like the 5th time under a different archetype and want all traces of the original archetype and your laziness erased from everyone’s vault?

Feveryou make some valid points and I agree that eververse needs to be removed from the game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

Outside of that there’s stuff for it coming in December.

And to everyone saying "it's armor, who cares", keep in mind that all those armor pieces have their own set bonuses. It's the same logic as having multiple Ergo Sums and Exotic Class Items.

The people telling you to "delete things and stop hoarding" are the same people complaining that an Igneous Hammer with perks it can't get anymore is killing them in two shots at a speed faster than Crimil's Dagger thanks to the Armor 3.0 update. This is why people don't delete things. Bungie has a habit of completely reworking entire systems that can cause a "serviceable roll" to outperform everything else.

2 RepliesIm sure some have said this,but I have been saying this since collections were added, and I thought that was it for. Let us imprint the god roll into our collections, and that way, we can remove/delete what we have and pull it out of collections with the rolls we imprinted at any time. But I believe they dont allow this, is to get us to keep grinding or being super active and chase that weapon again. I only have 420 weapons and exotics in my vault. I try not to pass that or add unnecessary stuff.

A part of me agrees but a part of me also disagrees. Do we need more vault space? Yes we do but we also have to acknowledge that the majority of things in our vault wil NEVER BE USED. I literally have like around 10 Ergo Sum's in my vault that I never use. Why do you ask? Well because I can. We are in part our own problem to the lack of vault space.

Im at 670 or 680/700 & I havent used the majority of what's in there in years or never used them at all. I have 15 timelost fatebringers with the absolute god roll on my warlock. Why do i still have them there taking up space? Because im too lazy to go through everything thats in there. My lack of space is my own doing not bungies.

You/We collect these items by choice and probably, if we’re honest with ourselves, use a fraction of them. I’m not a great player so my vault is usually at about 80% capacity or less, but of that 80%, I probably only rotate 10%. The rest is just gathering dust. I’d welcome a better way of sorting the vaults out, by loadout or weapon archetype etc, because that’s equally as frustrating, trying to find that one weapon you want, but which looks similar to another 30 weapons. As a whole, the vault isn’t the best thought out thing Bungle has come up with.

You don't need a roll of each armor piece, and you dont need a roll of every possible perk on weapon either. It really isn’t hard not to fill the vault.

Bungie isn’t forcing you to delete items. You’re likely holding onto a bunch of items that you haven’t used for months or even years. I guarantee you that if I were to go into your vault, delete one item you haven’t used in months, you wouldn’t notice it being gone.

Just delete your old armor sets. Absolutely no reasons to keep the old armors anymore. Its not like thebsunset back then where you could still use the weapons.. You have very VERY low chances of using these armors ever again. I deleted mine and managed to get 200 free places in my vault.

Oh my god you've figured it out! Bungie is creating new gear so you'll have to shred your old gear to fit the new gear in your vault. All so you won't notice some of the new gear resembles some of the old gear! Because they're - you know - lazy. Dastardly! They "made" you grind for the old gear they're going to "force" you to delete. Breaking news... players want more vault space! Never mind that Bungie has repeatedly acknowledged the issue, created Collections, increased vault space several times, and explained that technical issues are responsible. It's not like they've announced they're working on it. Oh wait... It's all a conspiracy! So we won't be able to compare the old gear to the new gear. So we won't notice all the new submachine guns are still submachine guns. Never mind new perks and origin traits. For heaven's sake! My helmet still goes on my head! Lazy fargin bastages! Delete stuff you never use! If you haven’t touched stuff in 6 months to a year at the very least- you likely don’t need it. There’s likely a new option that is better- or maybe even the same weapon with new perks by now. Also, Collections- Exotic Weapons and Armor already unlocked can be pulled from that- if you really need it. To be fair- I am not against more vault space- but there are ways to manage what we do have.

1 ReplyI don't understand why people have vault(/postmaster) space issues, there's plenty of old stuff that should get sharded, if you have any legendary armor from pre eof then you would only need a single set - > Artifice armor Vault space is only going to get worse now that they officially killed crafting (relic on Mars now made pointless to keep ingame, essentially now game data bloat, ironically also killing a core part of Witch Queen lol..) and enhancing adept gear by having everything be the same except just "tiers" and the occasional shinies (event) and tier 5 shinies (anything else) In my opinion everything in D2 should be craftable requiring varied materials, but nope we are back to rng gear with extra steps, each season making past gear obsolete w/ the "featured" mechanic that's seriously a B A D idea

5 RepliesThe Armor Sets are mid. They should’ve brought back Gambit Prime gear. And the gear from all content should’ve gotten updates. Imagine grinding for Vertais Armor and it is grindable through Well Spring activity for tier 4s Or grinding for Cyro gear in Europa and boosting player numbers in old content locations? Like… we have these locations in game and yet they’re empty. There’s no point except for leveling. Imagine raid gear across the game getting the Tier treatment. We don’t need new stuff we need the stuff already in game to be relevant
