I watched a video yesterday regarding how the Solstice event is handing out "super rewards", i.e. tier 5 armour and weapons.
Great, I thought.
But then, the catch.....
IF you have hit level 400, IF you are at guardian rank 9, IF you are able to grind this game 12 hours a day, 7 days a week on an industrial scale......then there might be something to get excited about.
I'm currently sitting at power level 232, guardian rank 6 and I've played every day since this abomination launched.
There are some guardians who just cannot do this and it seems that Bungie are rubbing salt in the wounds of those who have families and full time work commitments.
When they said they would reward players for their playtime, they didn't say it only applied to streamers and the top few percentage of elites who play Destiny for a living.
It's like giving millionaires the winning lottery numbers AND paying for their tickets.

Edited by Pope, Defiler of Bed Linen: 8/7/2025 7:47:51 AMive heard the same type of criticism over and over for years and nothing ever gets through to them. i suffer from low functioning autism, my wife and* her son are also autistic. he is 25+ years old and the same thing thats been happening here on destiny 2 all these years is more of the same thats happening here at home. we tell her son to clean up after his messes in the house like pushing his chair in at the table, to throw away his coffee pod from the coffee maker, to wash his own plate and dont leave it just sitting at the table after he gets done eating, etc. explaining things profusely, very basic things, and we have to tell him over and over again.. complaining and complaining at least three or four times a week for years and nothing ever gets through. to put it simply, i know autism when i see it spewing this mess all over forums, expressing your concerns and sharing feedback in any way never actually ever really changes anything here. its just the same poor communication, bad decision making, poor handling of financials, over and over again. i think its just ego or poor communication skills. either way, if they were smart they would work along with a handpicked select few players thats played the game since the very beginning and knows the ins and outs of everything most players want and dont want in destiny 2 to better help with communication because its obvious, theyre just not getting it. non-content creators obviously because they are biased and nearly all of them wont actually speak the truth of how poor this game is being run because streaming this game is their job, and are friends with several bungie employees and also badmouthing just might lose them advantages such as being invited for early playtests and receiving emblem codes for giveaways, etc.
