If I talk about it, I'm treated like an idiot, and told to just "get better" by my teammates or people on the forums. when I post proof, it's "witch-hunting" so I CAN'T WIN EITHER WAY. I'm stuck playing against them, and can't even bring up the problem without being dog piled by the cheaters and other players who are going through the exact same problem. "Just report them" but when I use the report forums, post a detailed description, tell them the exact date and time it happened, add their bungie name, and post the most cut-and-dry clip of them cheating that this world has ever seen, I am met with silence. I can't talk about it in the chat while they fly around and 1 shot everyone, I can't talk about it in the forums, and bungie is a brick wall.
so what do I do? Just take it like a good little boy? should I just get slammed every match, and keep letting them ruin everything, including PVE? do I just keep playing solo ops and close myself off from the rest of the game, just meaninglessly grinding towards nothing?

I recommend beer. Lots of beer. And then look for another game. I played a little today and quit the Solo Ops Portal shindig - I couldn't bear the Salt Mines again and PvP is ....well, you said it! Bringing up in-game issues and reporting players who cheat non-stop (I see them STILL playing on Xbox LOL!) has neither an immediate nor apparent effect. Thank Goodness I didn't pay for this Contraction of a DLC, and I feel for those who did. I've subscribed to EA Games of all things and am actually having a hoot with the Crysis Series! Best of luck Guardian!

Honestly Bungie really doesn't care about the cheaters unless it blatantly obvious or if it ruins their new raid. There have been numerous of people who have been reported and are cheating and bungie will basically give them a slap on the wrist
-
Since 70 % of pvp user and raid player are ch3at!n6 they have a incentive to go on the forum and tell everyone to "git gud" ... And bungie will only ban the criticaly obvious offender and the B00st service... Cuz the Streamer who abuse ruin the repuation of the game ---> less sale The b00sting service will just re-buy a account cuz for them the profit out-weight the cost ----> bungie sells more game due to this

This games community has an elitist culture that if you do not follow, you are discarded and treated like rubbish. The arrogance of Bungie has rubbed off on its top 10% of gamers to the point where they all felt ownership over how skilled someone should be in order to have a say in this game. Well, im sick of it, and I'm sick of those people. Most of them are quiet now because they finally see that they've been sold down the river by Bungie, and we were right all along. Feel good about it mate, like me.

When an active content creator, makes a video about how another content creator he knows is friends with somebody who supplied the paid carries, that led to a third content creator getting a ban, and the general consensus isn't that they are ALL in the wrong, you know you have a mountain to climb. After the recent news about Bungie, none of it is going to be a problem for long anyway, so I'd just move on while it's still your choice.

Edited by PandaPapa146: 8/8/2025 7:02:47 AMThe integrity of the Day One Raid took a big hit with what was revealed, ie, the 70% Club of Shame. The sheer scale took everyone by surprise, including BHQ / Sony. Apparently, the ban hammer has been applied to all relevant parties. If that’s how many blatant cheaters were discovered in such a highly monitored event, how many other cheaters, one wonders, infest the regular game modes? 🤔 I see a lot of very SUS players doing what appears to be naughty space magic…though I also reckon P2P and lag / latency are perhaps responsible for most of it…most, not all?! 🧐 Scorch Crucible is a case in point! 🫤 I’m sure Sony / BHQ are on it…and Rome wasn’t built in a day! 👈 Maybe, those DRS’s over at Marathon could be plugged into Destiny?! ✅✅✅ That would be a very well-received move by this passionate Community of loyal, and (mostly) reasonable Guardians aka Customers! 🥳 Murphy, my ghost, agrees! 👻 That is all. Play Fair! Play Nice! Don’t Cheat!* 👈👈👈 Ease Springs! 🫡 * autobot edit

no u stop playing or quit complaining. pvp has only gone downhill since more and more people stopped playing. I get u probably just want to enjoy D2 pvp but don't let the frustration win and just pick up something else. the cheater situation is not fair to anyone but trying to depend on bungie to actively do something about it won't help.
