I don't even know how precisely to describe this issue because I can't narrow down exactly what is causing it, but I tried a few matches in the "Hardware" playlist for Arms Week and I've been running into this weird issue in which it's like I suddenly have a negative Mobility stat.
Yes, I know "mobility" is no longer a thing. What I mean is EVERYTHING is suddenly slow. Reload is half speed. "look around" control is half speed. Walking/sprinting feels closer to 1/3 or even 1/4 speed, all of which is rather frustrating considering I put not one, not two, but THREE of the new mobility mod for boots ("Enhanced Athletics"). The mod is supposed to INCREASE jump height and movement speed, and supposedly is stackable. I should be consistently getting the maximum "mobility" currently available.
I don't know exactly what is triggering this. Sometimes it happens when I swap between Kinetic and Energy slot weapons. Sometimes it's automatic when I respawn. Sometimes it happens after using a melee attack. It's happened with different weapon loadouts. It's happened both in and out of combat. It's happened in different "gametypes" within the Hardware playlist. The playlist itself disables abilities so it's not like I'm getting "slowed" by a Stasis ability or "suspended" by Strand. Even WITH abilities enabled that wouldn't explain why it happens outside of combat and even within seconds after respawning (no engagements of any kind).
So I genuinely have no idea how to "recreate" this bug. I've run a single "Enhanced Athletics" mod in PvE content and haven't run into this issue, so maybe it's caused by attempting to stack this mod?
At any rate it is pretty much an instant death sentence in PvP (and frankly I already hate PvP as is due to it being where I run into the most inconsistent gameplay and more bugs than an entomology exhibit), and thus I'd call it a "game-breaking" problem. Nobody wants to be playing ANY type of game type and be suddenly locked into slow-mo mode while everything around them is still moving at normal speed.
