I'm very much on the fence about 'the grind' this season - I both love and hate it. I'm 360 currently and I've done that through various portal activities across all the 4 areas and I've enjoyed the variety. I haven't really farmed Caldera & K1 as it's just boring. However, who in their right mind thought low gravity would be a good addition? It doesn't add challenge it just adds masses of frustration. Then, some sadistic person added grounded with it on playlist activities. It's just horrible and completely unnecessary. I add modifiers to make it more difficult, which is fine, but this modifier needs to go. Also, your 'fix' to the problem of auto-loading players into the next solo ops playlist activity was to give the option to continue, which it does. This means you have to wait for the multiple countdowns to expire and it take you to orbit. Guess what, it still puts you into the next activity regardless! So I have to go to the character select screen each time I want out of the playlist loop. Just let people back out as normal! Finally, Trials. You actually made it very rewarding pre Edge of Fate. Now, it's dreadful again. I managed 2 three winstreaks and a win on my card and got 2 tier 2 pieces of armour and an adept mod I can't even use! I'm guardian rank 7 and 300+ so this put me right off playing again as its just not rewarding for the time investment. Couple that with the fact I handed in the seasonal challenge - to win rounds in Trials and it decrypted into a tier 2 non-Trials weapon which was at 200 power! 😵‍💫 Honestly, I have a high tolerance for Bungie fumbles and problems, I've been here since the beginning and seen it all, but I never post rants until now. This update is currently 1 step forward but 2 steps back. Get some proper QA testers, increase the rewards based on time investment (nobody wants to do the coil for an hour on Master for 2 drops!) and get it together. It's honestly becoming infuriating at this point. 🙄
