I went hard to hit 400. However i had the realization of "what am i grinding for?" My light level doesnt matter. The tiered loot doesnt really matter. What do i have to play once i hit 450? More solo ops? Fire team finder? Pinicle ops? The raid we're capped. Serious question. Whats the point? Bragging rights seems to be the only answer i can come up with. The fact that theres literally really nothing to use it in beyond getting it is kinda baffling. Would be differen if it stayed around but its not so why? Whats the motivation here to even bother with it.

Before EoF I cared too. I'd grind GMs, raids, and dungeons. Then they sunset my vault, my armor, and most of the content. Now this horrible tier system has ruined the game. Armor 3.0 is a good idea but the tier system ruined it. There is no point as you astutely point out. I played alot but now I don't care. EoF has made me more casual than ever. I just can't be bothered, as I don't think that I'll have the time to get to 450+. So what bother playing the same stuff. I might do the raid but the fact that the first run will only drop tier 1 just makes me think why bother. I mean it's new to me, but it is still just a mechanical process and shoot your guns. Sometimes I log in and just log back off. Honestly the only reason I am still playing is because it's a solar season. Solar Warlock is my favorite even though Bungie's has nerfed Warlocks and have admitted it. If this was a void or stasis season that would be it for me.
