Congratulations, BUNGO. Nothing outside the portal matters; the power level doesn't matter because everything caps you out. All the gear you farmed before, albeit still useful, is a liability for the grinding because you structured the whole system around having new gear equipped, so less old stuff equipped is automatically a gain for you if you want to be as efficient as possible. Hell, I never played a game where the cosmetics had any impact on your in-game performance, but here, for the sake of having us use the new stuff, equipping ornaments of the new sets on pieces of the other new sets gives you more DMG reduction and higher multipliers for your final score. Public destinations are empty, pinnacle farming is only on exotic missions, and thanks to the Traveller Kell's Fall, it's not a terrible mission, so at least it's one I can take in doing more more than once. Once you hit 300+ power the game turns to -blam!-. Everything is just AoE vomit, and you combine that with -blam!- ideas like the Low Grav modifier, and you are up for a terrible ride. I hope whoever designed this abomination of a system has a life as good as the retention numbers you are getting after the release of this crap.
