How about this idea? Allow a clan to challenge a clan. The reason? Let the community police the game. The cheaters want to play? Fine. Let them play. We, as the community, should be able to choose the people we play against AND get the same drops and loot as if we played the game. If we find a clan that proliferates in the art of "cheat", we as the community, will not engage with them. Might just be the thing to lite a fire in this game.

If I'm to be honest, I never used a cheat for Bungie games before. But I have for other games, not so much multiplayer though because I don't see satisfaction in ruining others time, I'm not a sadist and it's not a okay thing to do. With my experiences though, cheats are boring, ruin the game for me too, and sucks every point out of a game. Like lets use aimbot for example. We go into Crucible to play and enjoy trying to out play others, the reward is the pleasure of the play off, and the strategy and choas. So you go into Crucible, with aimbot and basically just watch the game play itself for you, why wouldn't you just go watch a streamer on Twitch at that point? I think cheaters are people that seriously and deeply can't handle losing, like being egotistical on the illusion of being good when they are not, or hopes of attention via being a streamer or "top player" when they aren't and can't accept just not being, and doing something else. But I stress again, it isn't actually fun in itself. If a game like GTA is built around an economy and all these things you can do to work towards things, and everything. GTA is SSSOO boring if you just glitch over a 100 million dollars and just have everything cause then what? Why have the fastest car if there's no motive to do missions for money or races for bets? Cheaters ruin the experience for everyone invovled and it's those that know that and do it anyways that are not cool.

People cheat because Bungie allows it. I agree. It is sad.
