Supposedly winning will grant greater progress. Lost my first match, got 7%. Won the second match, got another 7%. Didn't check between every match after that but about 4 or 5 matches later was at a total of 34%, so the whole thing seems pretty well busted. I've also completed the "weekly" task, and the daily task pretty much every day so far (haven't been on today yet) and have only reached Rank I think 6 or 7 out of 15, and the tasks seem to be the only way to progress through the event ranks, so it's looking like it will be objectively impossible to finish out the "Rank Card" before the event ends, and thus likewise impossible to obtain the event title. Every step of the way I find myself wondering why I came back to this game.
