So, I’m a big Glaive Fan as one might be able to tell and after getting and using my Field Prep Backfang, I realised that ammo is NOT being generated even as close to how it should have. The video linked is where I’m referencing the data I have when it comes to abilities. Abilities are supposed to be around 25 kills to generate a Heavy Ammo brick while weapons are nowhere near as bad. However upon testing my 100 ammo generation Backfang, projectiles only, it took the same number of kills as it would have if I were using abilities. 25. Or it should have, I ran out of ammo (an issue I’ve been suffering with as a Glaive enjoyer) before I could confirm it. But with the bar progress, it was past 20 kills. 23 to be exact. Left to orbit to reset ammo progress and switched to Rake Angle, 41 ammo generation with the mod for it. I repeated the same place. I was however able to confirm that it ALSO took 25 kills. Given the numbers of the abilities in the video and that melee would probably be the same progress as an ability due to how spammable it is, my guess is that Glaives are counting as abilities for the purposes of Ammo Generation regardless of the method used to take out enemies or even the ammo generation stat of said Glaives.
