So I was testing out some loadouts, seeing which weapon and perk combos were providing the most DPS .
Now, I was in the shooting range, testing out glaive, winterbite and close to melee glaives to be exact( noticed so.ething strange with this, but that's another story), when I noticed the gloating numbers and the stats on the board were completely different. In fact the board was shouwing about 1/3 the damage.
At first I thought it has to be a bug, and it very well may be. But it got me thinking. The floating numbers were basically what we'd expect from the number crunch going into EOF, but the numbers on the board seem to line up more with the damage we are currently doing to some bosses throughout raids and dungeons.
Clan was recently getting a buddy through vespers host, had on our best builds from prior to EOF and we were doing no damage. These builds used to 2 phase the boss easily, now it seems like it'll take 2-3 times that, which lines up with the numbers I'm seeing from the shooting range.
This doesn't seem like just a boss health issue, but some back-end calculations which may be intentional on bungies end. Because we don't know if we can trust the damage numbers were seeing
