How does this version launch with a bug as common and bad as the sprint glitch? All you'd have to do is play one game of pvp and you'd run into it. This game is circling the drain hard if they cant even keep bugs this common from showing up in launch builds.

Allow me to clarify something about game development so you might understand. Not saying you'll agree but at least it will give you some insight. Basically it boils down to the fact that the time and cost of finding and fixing every bug in the game outweigh the benefits. There are also other factors at play such as complex game design and tight development schedules. The people working on finding and solving bugs might be busy doing something more important. Finding all the bugs and fixing them before release would add more development time and overal cost. This would potentially delay the expansion but also increase the overal cost of the expansion and nobody wants that. Imagine if Bungie said ''Were going to delay this expansion by an additional 6 months and raise the price by an additional 20$ simply to ensure the expansion releases bug free. I can guarantee you that most players will never accept this. This is why almost every game ( especially live service games ) release with bugs being present because gaming studios know that most players will still accept buying a game with bugs because they know most if not all of them will be fixed post-launch. Does that mean it effects your enjoyment currently? Yes absolutely but it will get better eventually. Can you imagine how many hours and how many people would be required to test every single thing in this game to ensure it would release bug free? Bungie didn't even know about Dead Messenger being busted and it's through the community that they found out and disabled it. It's also not surprising that Bungie didn't know about it because as far as I'm aware they didn't rework the Exotic or change anything about it. Yet something in the game's code broke which effected the Exotic. Bugs and glitches are sadly something you have to accept to encounter when playing games like these that have complex coding. It isn't pretty but delaying an expansion for months or even a year is never worth it for the studio from a financial point of view because it also effects the player.
