How to unlock exotics not in collection
In Final Shape we were able to rank up our reputation with Rahool and focus engrams to unlock exotics, even those we have not collected before.
In Edge of Fate, i saw an update in which the devs supposedly made it possible to focus exotics without having to rank up reputation anymore. The issue is, it no longer is allowing me to collect exotics i havent found before and mamy of the exotics i have yet to collect USED to be from specific activities, luke Master Lost Sectors, but are no longer obtainable from those.
To be even more specific, I am trying to get the dawn chorus helmet. This used to be obtainable via legendary+ lost sectors and vex incursions but now those give generic engrams instead.
I have scoured the internet but cant find anything addressing this in Edge of Fate.
Am I missing something, or is rahools exotic engram focusing not working as intended?

You have to be lucky on a random drop exotic. I was in the same boat. I got used to running lost sectors for the new exotics and they yet again changed it. Did a flawless run and only got the engram thinking ok just turn it in on the focus nope. Now it's back to hoping the exotic will be the one we need. They need to make up their minds on trying to get these exotics.
