Well well well, i honestly never could see the light of day cause i was reminding myself upon how UNSTABLE this game made me by giving visions of self harm that would be made upon anybody that would attempt this godblam mess… and here we are, the absolute cliff before the end of services, after all they apparently lost 70% players, and Trials gotta be riddled with Darn cheaters, and the loot tier is locked behind guardian rank.
“It takes 80 hours to get to the best light level”
- An absolute lie, it will take more than 300 hours of constant repeating the same mission or the same activity over to get to the maximum, with as side
The get guds and generic bantering that the elitist made have sucessfully made a mass fleeing from the community that once loved the game…
This game will not last 2025, let alone 2026, Mark my words.

I call bs

idk what "elitist" you are talking about tbh i know absolutely ZERO players, who asked for a 300h power grind, we just asked for ENDGAME difficulty trust me, nobody wants a long boring grind, that isnt challenging at all.

Please explain this 70% figure when the only metrics anyone can see is steam? And pc is the smallest of their communities? Bungie knew after final shape it would lose a portion of its player base, what were sales projections? What were the metrics set by Sony to keep going? We don't know any of this. So post is pure speculation based off one metric that wasn't even a full 70% loss. The doom posting is real lol.

I have played since EoF a total of ~43 hrs from what the Destiny 2 Heatmap tells me. I have already hit 300 light and 100 on the season pass. I quite literally only started focusing on power farming 2 days ago so that means I have spent maybe 4-5 hrs doing it for nearly 100 power levels. If you just play the game, you would be getting power bumps, it may take another couple of days if your not focusing on it but your still more then easily going to go up in power. Respectfully it will not take hundreds of hours to hit the cap, you are being hyperbolic

Yep said this for a while
-
I chatted with someone just last night who said they reached LL 300 on 2 characters after only 60 hours.

Is this grind supposed to be Fun?
-
I think its more than 300. I think its probably closer to like 500 hours for most people if they want to get to 450.

Bungie seems to ignore cheating, even when they're told about it, they say they're doing something about it but not officially and I have never noticed any less cheaters in any activities. Only an uptick.

The elitists seem to be bungie's peeps, it's a self feeding loop, addressing bungie about it, is like trying to get a response from the dead. I am not sure about losing 70% of players though, player count seems about the same on the graphs, of course it is possible that it may have been artificially pumped to make up for the loss, or that it was padded during, in order to make it invisible, it's a billion dollar company after all, they wield much power, and if you think they do not exercise it, and regularly, you are plain wrong.

Have you ever read about historical madmen who, despite the availability of good advisers and data, still made emotionally driven stubborn decisions?
It's the world that's wrong, not me.
That's where bungie and destiny are at. At the whims of a disconnected blunderer leading his company into ruin. Bungie and leadership... It's a case for a journalist if you ask me.
