What are you struggling with exactly? Some information would be nice. If you are struggling with difficulty stop trying to always get an A rank, it's unnecessary. Getting a B+ is just fine. When your power is high enough within the bracket to go for an A rank then max out the score bar with mods and go for it. If you constantly try to go for A, that's why you're struggling. If you do this yes you will be playing at minus 40 sometimes minus 50 power and that's not fun. That's the point, it's a time sync. Stop trying to rush it aka stop being greedy. I left a comment on a post before EOF dropped stating this exact issue. People need to stop trying to rush everything by getting an A rank, you are making it more difficult than it needs to be. This is the problem, everyone gets greedy and wants everything now. What's the point of putting all those mods and cranking it up to an A rank score if you can't complete the mission. It's a waste, it's pointless. This current state of the portal reminds of Mass Effect MP, where people would try and play on Gold or Platinum when they weren't ready. They'd be like "I want to be able to earn tons and tons of credits", yeah but if you can't complete the match, then it's a waste of time. STOP trying to put to many mods on at once too early. Just FYI, I'm at 400p and I didn't get there by constantly going for A's. I would go for B+, then later go for A's.
