What is the point of Trials?
I reached 300 PL with GR 7, I use mostly New Gear, I got the non-Lighthouse Passage to 7 Wins and I drop T2 Loot across the board even for Wins. I get 90% Armor drops. Not even T3 Loot for all my time investment.
And once again a weapon that is BiS in PvE is in Trials to get canon fodder in there for the skeleton crew of PvP diehards.
What this company does is disrespectful. You have community managers telling us that they are just human when they have to deal with all the backlash, but we are the ones not being treated like humans.

I wonder if Bungie did this to also curb cheaters. If all the good loot is locked behind time spent on the game to rank up, I can see fewer cheaters coming into the game with brand new accounts.

I only got tier 2 items that were completely useless while my friend got tier 5’s cause he was willing to do the slog of power grind. So what’s the point of me having performed better than my friends during those matches when the matches themselves don’t impact the quality of my loot?

Played 4 games of trials. Lost all 4. Went on destiny tracker to confirm not one game I had advantage. All for useless loot. Sorry guys bad this is just bad. Fix match making.

i dont see the point anymore to continue play, im just above 400.Grank 9 and went flawless, not a single tier 5 from the chest. They lock the T5 loot from the flawless chest behind a win streak of 7. That is just messed up. This game actualy deserve to die,the players being lied to over and over and over again,its disgusting.

There is no point anymore. You’re not rewarded for how well you do. You’re rewarded for how much time you play in Destiny 2 now. You’ve got enough time to play over 20 hours a week and hit 450? FOLKS WE HAVE A WINNER. Here’s all the tier 5 loot win or lose you can have! While even the GREAT players who are still in the 200 and 300 going flawless don’t even get tier 3 or 4 from the lighthouse. This is a huge problem and needs addressing immediately. I had a 5 win streak and got nothing but tier 1 items from the chest. Total loss for words after that. I’ll be playing trials just to get the cool armor to make into ornaments but outside of that I won’t be playing until they fix it.

16 RepliesThe fact 2 players of similar skill can now have such wildly varying rewards all because they are either above or below a specific GR/PL is total bs and contradictory to flawless as a whole. if those 2 players both obtain passage, why should one get T5s and the other not because someone didnt sweat K1/Caldera for multiple hours a day........ Bungie your honestly -blam!- idiots at this point. great way to overwrite your trials reward changes last season in a single update (just like everything else) going to be fun watching trials report plummet from the already tanked player base from an already tanked existing player base who now wont touch trials if they are under GR7 or PL380 so gg.

If you are the highest level you are rewarded. If you are low power level even 300 you are a second class citizen according to Bungie. I knew Bungie would not forget to piss off any group in destiny. Today they took Thier anger out on trials players. They think you are human garbage. They have no respect for Thier players. I'm really curious who made these decisions because they must have a lot of hate and anger. It's not the devs I don't think but management i bet. You dio have six months to get to Max level. We shall see how long it takes to get to Max if you play every day but not 8 hours a day. Let's say you play 3 hours a day.

Dude the amount of loot was abysmal. Trials was a pain due to bad blueberries, and I get to the lighthouse on a flawless card and its like a couple drops opposed to the fountain the last few seasons. Like wtf is the point.

I got teir 4 loot from the chest and tier 2-4 loot on wins and loses depending on well I did. If I was higher level it would be t3-t5 loot and I’m guardian rank 7.

Yeah the reason you have drops that are only t2 it's because of your guardian rank.. There are tons of research about the expansion that clearly states that it's not just about your power has to be at a certain point to get higher tiers you also have to be a higher guardian rank because bungie repurposed The Guardian rank system to be more of a purpose to have a reasoned to be a guardian rank 8 or 9. Example if you look at arms week if you look at the weapons from the event page it literally says the Max is T4 but it depends on your guardian rank... Logically this would apply to trials because trials is an event but it's also part of the portal and people already said that the items from the portal your rewards are based on your power level and based on your rank... The only way you could get a T4 without a high rank is if you do mystic weekly story missions on kepler... Also I would really avoid pvp right now it's a mess it's unbalanced it's filled with nothing but cheaters and hackers and you're damaging players and they're walking through walls it's out of control even streamers before the expansion said bet the cheaters in the crucible are spreading like a wildfire.. Like for real think about what happened with world's first bungee said 70% of people in the community who did the contest mode for the raid they cheated... They didn't banned these players but they labeled them as cheaters in the community.. I guess that's what they do now if you cheat or hack you don't get banned you just get labeled and you get like a Pat on your back 😆

My new sweat is Trials, Went from a 320 to a 370… Yet where you find misery I find it Hilarious / Suspenseful not with just me but random teammates that come along the way. Drops will come / Light levels will change but ultimately you’ll be having “FUN” scary I know right!?!
