Edited by Dragokin: 7/31/2025 3:08:34 PMI personally enjoy them... SRL especially...faction rallys...iron banner...trials...it's fun to focus on different things as you play it prevents burnout...I would only play strikes on vanguard week...only crucible during iron banner usually because it was bonus rep week And I could double dip the rewards from salad and and shacks (was the only time I could stomach crucible cuz I felt it was worth it)... I would farm the holy living crap out of gambit cuz I like the guns and the game mode was amazing now there's no rep no guns it doesn't give you progress for anything they killed the mode and I want it back Love Gambit Most of my gameplay was Gambit... SRL was an amazing change of pace you could just take a break but never need to switch games.... Little things like fishing were a nice break... Leveling up the different factions to chase for loot like it was a seeable thing integrated to the life and lore of the world... now it's just boring lifeless it gives no soul to the world now It's just complete task loot complete task grind pay grind.... Like different gun vendors should have like a brand loyalty track for guns or you know banshee should actually be able to craft things like in lore world building stuff.. arms week it makes sense because that's how Ada do but the execution is so immersion breaking and very repelling it has nothing to do with our character in the game it has everything to do with the player holding the controller paying out and grinding out for something that's being held over our head and it's obviously not working and I don't know how they ever thought it would...
