Constant Freezing/Crashing after 9.0.0.4 Update on 7/29
seeing this since the 7/29 patch... no error code just a complete freeze into a crash. it has consistently ruined playing activities where you cannot join back in progress. such as conquests or grandmaster activities. It is becoming so frequent i just dont play with others anymore because I dont to make them restart the entire mission over.
This needs to be looked at specifically as there is no error code on crash. The Destiny Client and services just completely stop after the crash then play button shows up in steam to start game again.
I have latest nvidia drives and still experiencing this. Please take time to look into why
PC Specs:
RTX 5070 ti -16gb
intel ultra 9, 258K
64gb ram
2tb ssd(With 1.2 TB free)
Running currently at 170 frames capped(dropped it to 100 frames... still crashing)
Running Nvidia reflex in settings as well.
This started almost 20 minutes into playing after patch 9.0.0.4. and now happens to me almost every hour...
Ive been watching my pc vitals and when i crash i see no spike in CPU, GPU, or memory.
It has crashed in solo ops, fireteam ops, conquests, and pinnacle activities.
I am happy to provide any logs or work with someone to figure this out but ive been seeing others post this same issue since the patch on Tuesday.

Happens whether in Solo or Fireteams Ops from the new portal playlist activities so far. Windows Event Viewer marks it as an Error Faulting application name: destiny2.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x000000 REPRO STEPS: Playing through any activities and typically just engaged in normal fighting and the game freezes will just close out after 3 or so seconds with no error message. The first time I had it happen was activating my warlock super ( prismatic - song of flame), the most recent crash was just engaging enemies in a solo portal activity. ACTUAL RESULT: The result you're currently experiencing. Freezing randomly / Locking up the game and then crashing without error codes. Fully updated drivers and OS. The game files were verified this morning on Steam and the issue still persisted. Played on my RTX 4070, i7 14700F system with identical 48GB DDR5 ram set and no crashes yesterday or today for over 3 hours. Cannot make it past 30 mins sometimes before a crash however of the game on my Core ultra 7. I ran a memory test with MemTest86 for 4 full passes and it passes with no errors.

So. i re-installed entire game and it seems better today... does it seem better for anyone else that didnt re-install? jw if something was done on backend or if the re-install fixed.
