Game Crashing Regularly Since 7/29 Update
My game has been repeatedly crashing since yesterday's update. It doesn't seem to matter what activity I'm playing, as it has crashed when I've been in patrol zones, raids, portal activities, etc. My Internet is totally fine and no other games are crashing.
When it happens, my game just freezes for a few seconds and it sends me back to Windows. There is no error code or message in Destiny 2 or in Windows.
I've checked the integrity of my game files, made sure my GPU drivers are updated, and even performed a full uninstall/reinstall of Destiny 2. Nothing has worked. If I'm lucky, I can play for an hour or so before the crash occurs. Other times, it only runs for 10-15 minutes before crashing again. I've kept Task Manager open to monitor my PC's vitals during play and nothing seems out of the ordinary; my PC isn't running at a high temperature and the memory/CPU usage are normal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as the game is literally unplayable for me right now.

Same exact crashing for me. Something after the recent update/maintenance broke the game for a lot of people where it freezes and crashes like this. Just want bungie to investigate and patch it before the week is done. Pretty hard to commit time to play it when it does that mid mission constantly. :/

1 ReplyI think I have figured out the problem. Any mission that you run that has the Low Gravity modifier causes the game to crash. I just have a bunch of stuff for hours and have no issue until I did one with low gravity. Then the game crashed.

Same thing is happening to me as well, done everything I could think of including uninstall and reinstall running settings half of what they were. Typically crashes within 3 minutes

Same here after 10 mins game crashes to desktop no error codes or anything. Game is unplayable. I have wasted so much time trying all kinds of things nothing works my other games are fine.
