micro stuttering after recent patch
As the title says ive been getting none stop stutters after this most recent update, ive done everything trying to fix it but nothing has worked, drivers included. this all happened with this latest update and makes the game unplayable cause how annoying it is. this is the first time ive had to post about an issue with this game performance wise cause its that bad.
System specs
Rtx 3060ti 8gb
amd ryzen 3700x
32gb ram
windows 10
any help would be appreciated.

Edited by Altair: 8/3/2025 1:22:53 PMYes, definitively is the performance choppy and became bad after the recent patches, which bringing the new event inside. Yesterday after a few hours I had my first game crash/freeze after three years without it.

Yo, i have the same problem as you after the most recent patch, I've tried everything and i still have micro stuttering. It's really annoying especially in pvp....pls bungie patch this fast its just unplayable.

Now it seems that with the recent patch, more have fallen into this issue This problem stems from the removal of true exclusive fullscreen mode. For whatever reason your computer is treating the game as though it’s a peripheral process instead of the primary focus of the gpu and graphics card. Unfortunately there has been no consistent fix, however running in windowed mode or disabling fullscreen optimization in destinys game file settings has worked for some….zero promises that it will as it’s not a consistent fix Bungie broke their game
