Multiple Issues with My Bungie Account — Game Access, Fireteam, Help Site, and Profile Problems

Dear Bungie Support, I’m writing to report a series of persistent and critical issues affecting my Bungie account. These problems have severely impacted my gameplay experience, and I would appreciate your assistance in resolving them. The issues are as follows: --- 1. Cannot Send or Receive Fireteam Invites / Join Requests This issue has persisted for over three years. Whenever someone tries to invite me or join my Fireteam, they receive the error message: “Please enter a valid profile name.” Strangely, this problem does not occur when my clanmates attempt the same action with each other. I’ve submitted multiple reports in the past, but it remains unresolved. This issue severely limits my ability to participate in cooperative content. Bungie Help Website Is Inaccessible I am completely unable to access the Bungie Help portal. Whenever I attempt to log in—or if I visit the site while already logged into Bungie.net—I am automatically logged out and redirected to the Bungie.net homepage. Bungie Name Change Doesn’t Work Although I have an available name change token, I am unable to change my Bungie name. Clicking the “Save Settings” button has no effect—the name remains unchanged, and the token is not consumed. I’ve recorded a video demonstrating this behavior, which I can provide upon request. --- 4. Bungie Profile Is Not Displaying Correctly This issue seems to confirm that something is fundamentally broken with my Bungie profile. On my clan roster page, instead of showing my Bungie.net nickname and avatar, it displays my Steam nickname and a Steam icon. This happens even if I set my Steam profile to private in my Bungie account settings. My Bungie profile’s linked accounts section still shows my Steam as public, despite the privacy setting. My avatar and theme on Bungie.net also default to the system default, rather than the ones I have set. Because of this: I cannot send or receive Fireteam invites I get forcibly logged out when accessing Bungie Help I am unable to save a new Bungie name My profile appears incorrectly on the clan list My avatar and theme settings are not properly applied --- 5. Cannot Access the Game After the Release of Edge of Fate In addition to the issues above, ever since the release of Edge of Fate, I have been completely unable to access the game. When I log in, the game gets stuck during the character loading process and displays the CENTIPEDE error code. While this error typically suggests a network problem on the user’s end, I have reviewed the Bungie Help guide and verified all relevant factors—there are no issues on my side. Furthermore, when using the same internet and PC setup, I am able to log in with a different account without any problems. This strongly suggests that there is a bug in the Bungie server when trying to load my specific character. I also attempted to link Xbox and use cross-play to log in through the Xbox platform, but the exact same issue occurs, even there. --- Summary Based on all of the above, I believe these issues are caused by something missing or broken in how Bungie’s servers load my account. Whether it's joining Fireteams, accessing the Help site, saving a Bungie name, or loading my character, something essential is likely missing or corrupted in my account data. --- Requests 1. Please resolve the error that occurs while loading my character during game login. I have been completely unable to play the game since the release of Edge of Fate. 2. Please resolve the Fireteam invite/join issue, as it seriously impairs my ability to play Destiny with others. 3. I kindly ask that you assist me in changing my Bungie name to match my Steam nickname: 수호자님은 아주 깊은 우물에 발을 내디딘 겁니다 If there’s anything I can do on my end to assist with debugging or account recovery, I’m happy to help. However, since I cannot access Bungie Help to submit this request through the normal channels, I would greatly appreciate it if you could forward this issue to the appropriate team on my behalf or advise me on how to resolve it. I sincerely hope this can be escalated, as these issues have been ongoing for far too long.   • It’s also possible that these issues are being caused by my current Bungie name being too long. Would it be possible for you to change my name to a default format like "GuardianXXXX"?
