Back when Destiny first launched, it launched as a game for everyone. Anyone could hop on and take part in missions all over Sol and experience everything that the game had to offer. Wether you were Solo or with a friend there was something for all levels of gamer. Some like myself even met new friends theough the Crucible or Strikes that then lead to Raid teams.
Today, Destiny is a far cry from this great history. Want to take part in a Raid? Too bad -blam!- wad you dont have *Insert specific weapon here* or “You dont know what to do get the -blam!- out”. Want higher tier loot? Sorry only players who can no life Mythic and Fabled tier missions can get this armor or weapon tier. Want to play PvP? You better bring a full squad and pray you dont encounter hackers or youre gona be -blam!-. Bungie has taken a game that originally everyone could play and enjoy and turned it into a Streamer exclusive that only those whose JOB it is to sit at a computer or console for 20+ hours and make content can play it.
I am a casual. I play games for fun and to unwind after a long week of 12-16 hour shifts. And I, am no longer welcome here. EoF will be my last expansion. Though I will be seeing what the seasons at least have to offer. I do indeed regret my purchase as I thought things might be a touch better. I was wrong. So. To my brothers and sisters in the field of the Casual Gamer, I will see you in another game in a more enjoyable environment than this Elitist hellscape of a game we once called Destiny.

Raids and strikes are end-game contents, so they're both aimed at enthusiasts. However, after the update it seems like the power system and other things have been built around them. These days, it probably wouldn't be much fun to progress through an RPG story where you're dealing double-digit damage.
