Make Onslaught Permanent Again.
Reports are saying Onslaught was removed last week so that it could be reduced down to a rotating activity with only 2 maps???
No, please tell me this is false.
The best PvE mode in the game?
There is already A LOT of content removed from the Game, why is it a good idea to make The best mode you’ve ever made — the horde mode people asked for, for YEARS — on a weekly rotation with other niche activities like Coil?
I understand forcing people to go to The Portal to look for what’s there, but.. NO. Onslaught is onslaught. It’s not even in the same category as Coil or Battlegrounds or whatever else.
Consolidate it to a unified mode with 5 Maps (you can get that one Earth map TF outta here — you know which one lol), and make it Permanent.
This is a lot of people’s main mode, and one of the only activities I never had any matchmaking issues with. It’s also one of the most rewarding modes. And the option to do 10 or 50 waves is great. Perfect mode. The only thing that kept me from leaving the game entirely.

I imagine Bungie doesn't want Onslaught competing against new content, and I sort of get it, but, like, Onslaught was where I would go to play with the loot I got from the content. Like, playing Onslaught was kind of a reward in that regard; "Oh, a new toy, I wonder what it'll do in Onslaught!" If D2 is a toy box, Onslaught is a playground. I'd prefer it be a regular experience, like Crucible or Strikes, something I can drop into when I feel like it. Plus, like you said, the rewards were dope, not just the quantity, but the quality, too. Edit: No matchmaking, no ten round, hidden at the bottom of the Fireteam Ops page, and no bonus rewards. I guess Bungie really doesn't want people playing Onslaught. 😅

Nah guardian Bungie is obviously going to rotate all our previously paid for season activities SLOWLY throughout the year. Remember for free to play all the portal activities are basically new content. That's the plan! Even weapon and armour re-rolls will be available for SILVER soon! I am NOT kidding. It sucks

Bungie will now use all our past paid season content and just recycle it weekly/monthly (but not all at once of course) to the free to play crowd as new content in portal. Minimum viable product. In other words make the most amount of money using the least amount of cost/resources

They need to make ALL the old content have the old gear but updated up to like tier 3-4. Tier 5 gear could be like master raids, master dungeons, etc.
