Destiny isn't fun anymore.
Im a solo player because all my friends gave up on destiny. I still love the game but it's hard to enjoy it. In order to level up i have to sweat my balls off. They have a quick play fire team that has match making but nothing else. I miss out on all the other bonus drops because only quickplay has match making g and trying to run entire stikes or missions on higher end difficulty to get a good enough score to get the drops by yourself can be a nightmare and waste of time. Can you at least add a match making option for fireplace. I dont m8nd a challenge but do I have to torture myself just to level up?

We've been telling Bungie for years that just turning everything into bullet sponges doesn't equal enjoyable difficulty. This is the expansion where Bungie ignoring this feedback comes crashing down on them. Unless you have a Primary that deals a lot of damage and lets you keep your distance, it is impossible to make any sort of progress on higher difficulty. You need something like Outbreak, Le Monarque, or Polaris to stand any chance of clearing high level content.

Here i am giving it another chance, and BOOM: the only way to get gear worth a damn is to grind trough some over-complicated bullshit dificulty where every damn enemy is a miniboss thay teleports every 2 seconds, has shields of all kind, can all oneshot you with explosive tracking bullets AND has some random -blam!- AOE effect arround them... oh, and Bungie also won't give jack -blam!- if you don't finish this unpleasant barf inducing nonsense within a rather too short time frame... Bungie hates it's own players THAT much. The only players that will remain are the minority of pro-gamers and play-all-day jobless players. The rest of us "commoners" i guess are expected to -blam!- off and play something else i guess...

Everything is so over complicated now. So much stuff to figure out just to get the right armor, play the right version of strikes, is nightfall not a portal activity? Wtf even is the portal? Why does everything look like Titan without the oceans? This stinks man.

Don't get me wrong, i enjoy a fun grind. I will play for hours if what im doing is even mildly amusing, but this grind is far from that. Play hard stuff with mods that cause you to clinch your -blam!- the whole time in hopes you beat the timer and get a good score to get good loot. Im 49 years old my heart can't handle this much torture.

1 ReplyEdge of Fate has changed Destiny 2 so much that it does not feel like Destiny anymore. It feels like a Spin-off or a cheap ripoff from the original. It feels so weird and I do not feel at home anymore at all. It almost feels like a mobile game now and I DO NOT WANT THAT! I want my Destiny 2 back from last year which I fell in love with and played literally thousands of hours. It was so much more fun. The switch from the Navigation screen with all the planets to a Portal screen completely kills the vibe of the game. It robs the sense of freedom from the player. On top of that less and less focus on random encounters in an open world is being killed with solo worlds. The new Armor stats is just a cheap excuse to delete all the builds you have worked towards to over an decade so once again all your work is being disrespected and trashed without you having a chance to defend it. You just have to either accept it or stop playing the game completely. Nothing is working, nothing makes sense anymore, nothing is fun anymore... reason is = The Edge of Fate and all its changes...

I just don't feel like "restarting" the game again. I already grinded for all the armor I wanted, and was happy when a new weapon came out to grind and get the god roll for, but this is just too much for me. Also find all the new armor stats and 1-5 weapons kinda annoying.

Don't forget, THEY HAVE THE CHEEK TO CALL IT AN MMO. It's only massive in gigabytes, Multiplayer feels like a job audition. Online SHOP Tracking on anything is barely a SUGGESTION not an effort to hit. But DON'T WORRY THE GUN THAT GETS 1% EXTRA DAMAGE WILL BE NERFED Hell the MAKE EVERYTHING RANDOM, sabotaging progress towards quests. Don't forget REMOVING FUN, Rainbow from strikes, MAYHEM WAS TOO MUCH LIKE FUN MAKE IT BORING!

They took a game that needed just a little polish and made a turd. Akin to having a Lambo that needed new tyres and being forced into a Mini Metro with faulty engine four broken wheels and a slipping belt.

Played the first mission on hard and it sucked…just a shitty tedious grind. The game has went backwards and if you don’t have friends or clan you can’t play any raid and if you don’t know the raid by heart on the mechanics you are screwed. Need matchmaking for chill people that want to play. Need matchmaking for everything…just do it…

To be honest the campaign was good and the raid looks horrible even on normal. So nothing to do now and thats it for the dlc hahahaha might go for a title but bored of them aswell.

Try overthrow on the Pale Heart. Blues drop for fun, purples from overthrow chests and you can whack a full run out in 20 minutes if you just concentrate on the actual objective. Fixed chests in there only drop low level gear unless you're lucky enough to get a exotic bond. PSI, make sure the postmaster is empty as he fills up quickly with drops!

I just haven't been playing a lot because the constant crashes. I'm the founder and I can send you a invite. We play pvp, pve, dungeon and raids when I'm on. I don't mind teaching raids and dungeons.
