Heya, I’m a returning player and decided to go for the Harbinger title, I was quite literally flying through the content-even beating A dungeon solo before reading about the dungeon rework as I missed all of it. Everything changed after the update as instead of your power being on par- even a bit higher than the content, You are now much weaker making the content quite literally that much harder. Summary- The games new difficulty system has made challenges much harder creating a situation where most of the players that have difficult titles-Got them on the easier versions of destiny excluding Day 1 Raiders. Solution- Alter all locked Title rewards to include 2 Titles, One with the base Title you would have gotten, And Another one with some kind of special effects, Red color, ethereal font or in all Caps. Existing title earners can essentially “Reroll” their title progress-keeping the rewards they’ve already unlocked but allows them to track these challenges again to unlock these new titles. None of these new titles would award new milestones points for those who already grinded them out. This is solely to maintain the skill expression of Pve which has now been tainted. To clarify on my experience-I essentially went from jumping out and rocketing down nightmare ogres and progressing-To actively corner peaking and retreating for distance. From making it to the boss in a nightmare hunt in 4 minutes to now restarting encounters because a nightmare barrier night waited until I needed to reload to heal extending the fight. From what I’ve experienced this is a very universal thing with solo content of this tier becoming that much harder with no reward for these increased challenges. Notes- Legacy titles will simply not be applicable unless they return in which the rewards would consist of both fonts/colors for those who want them. (In hindsight a better reward system would simply be that we unlock a different color font)
