It's frankly embarrassing at this point with how lazy Bungie is with the Anti-Cheat, you may wonder 'why's this random fella talking about anti-cheat?'... It's because the entire reason Linux isn't supported for Destiny 2 is because it is 'too easy' to cheat on Linux, spoiler.. it's not, additionally, the anti-cheat ALSO works on Linux.
What I don't understand is why Bungie doesn't want to add Linux support, it'd add Stadia and Steam Deck support too as they run off Linux, it's been proven in a boat load of games that Linux support does no harm, and in some cases even gives better performance.
I'm stuck right now playing with GeForce NOW, my first hour of play session (I run the free tier) was frankly awful, below acceptable quality, mediocre FPS and all depsite having 1000mb/1000mb ethernet, I've played through the first hour of The Edge of Fate, I will not play it again until I move back to Windows (Never), or it eventually comes to Linux.
Get a grip, Bungie.

Making a Linux build means paying devs money that could have gone to next year’s management bonuses.
