No announcement about a donation, or anything? Did I miss something on Twitter or are they not doing anything about it? Roughly 200 people are dead. Homes washed away. People missing.
SAY SOMETHING.

Edited by CrimzonReaper: 7/12/2025 11:06:20 AMCanada is burning, thousands displaced and losing their homes and we get a letter from some of your states complaining that the smoke is ruining their summer. Funny how when you’re country is burning we just help without the theatrics. Bungie hasn’t mentioned that either. I didn’t realize it was a game companies responsibility to raise money for disasters smh. If you’re so concerned start your own kickstart to help.

The recent heatwave in Europe killed 2300 people, should they care as well or it only counts if it happens in Texas ?
-
What have you done for the flood victims? Nada But here you are.
-
They didn’t get their instructions yet.

Edited by Mark, Scholar of Stars: 7/12/2025 1:00:47 PMWhat happened in Texas is pretty sad. And what happens all around the world is a tragedy. Edit: Text addition

They pick their catastrophies, for reasons.

I am not saying that the current situation in Texas isn’t severed I’m just saying they must have some kinda bar where they tax ride off is to little and bungie monitization is so strict it’s not benifitial to them.
-
I’m with you buddy that they should say something. But you gotta admit it’s dark that we want private corporations that make Videogames to step in for stuff like this instead of, oh, I dunno know….. FEMA????
-
Do they need to do something for every disaster?

Le Reinforcements have arrived… - old
Not that a charity drive for the victims of natural disasters or global tragedies isn’t a phenomenal idea (it’s actually a rather endearing and uplifting thing to see, and restores a bit of the faith I had lost in humanity), but it’s not going to happen. The increasing frequency of climate change-related events causing more destruction and loss than in previous eras would simply be too much to keep up with. Bungie could establish a permanent charity and have donations go to global efforts to fight climate change or at least aid in recovery and rebuilding efforts…but I’m going to lose that tiny bit of faith you just gave me back because I know a loud contingent is just going to be pissed about woke virtue signaling over climate change. -
after all these years why tf are people still expecting anything rational from bungie. it bewilders me that people care this much sometimes
-
It always takes a week or more before anything gets said, so calm down I'm sure something will get announced.
-
I donated already, but correct me if I’m wrong but Bungie hasn’t done donations for any tragedies in America at least what I can remember from. I don’t think they did anything for CA or NC.

I said something about it the morning after... It was spoken about then and the question was asked... Will Bungie do anything in the way of helping the victims of this tragedy..? There was nothing since... I can't find anything through Bungie but if course you have the Red Cross if anyone chooses that option...
