Lootapalooza sounds like a time where one would get more loot not “one loot per day only” also “buy twenty then get seven given to you over the last week” should mean that; not buy fourteen, run out of rewards I don’t have I guess, get told I’m at purchase limit and can’t get one per day because I have hit the limit of rewards.
Stop being so damn tight fisted over cosmetic items especially when you are trying to earn back the good will of your player base. If I told you you were going to get twenty rewards then another seven and instead after fourteen items I started hitting you and telling you there’s nothing left for you even though “we have items for everyone” would you like it?

Edited by Hyperstorm76: 7/11/2025 1:49:22 PMWhy do you want them to demote the janitor? Pretty sure it's just him and 6 Eververse fashion designers left until Marathon crashes and burns.

It's a typo. It's supposed to be Lotta Poo Losers.
-
I was imagining that we would get borderlands level loot

Is the loot not useless from when the new DLC comes out hahahaahhaha
-
Yeah, they 100% baited us. I wanted shineys everywhere. I barely have gotten 3. No change from other runs.

Lol, so true. Not to mention, the last week usually has double drops across the entire game. That’s how people typically stock up on Ascendant currency before a new DLC. But now, we have this meat grinder for weapons that aren’t even relevant. Honestly, you can clearly feel the effects of the layoffs after The Final Shape. There are two things Bungie needs to do — and do quickly: 1. Show us the team working on Destiny. This would help us understand the lack of innovation and the disconnect many players feel. It’s easier to be patient when we know why things are the way they are. We get that development is hard, but the “good intentions” stories are getting old without actual context. Transparency will not only help us understand but also keep us invested in supporting your company. 2. Offer an open apology — aka, man up. This one’s personal. As a PvP player with over a million kills who genuinely loves the game, I can confidently say PvP players have been left behind, continuing to fund something we’re no longer really getting. And that’s fine — I still believe in the magic Bungie has created, so you still have my loyalty… for now. But without an apology for the state of PvP, it’s hard not to feel bitter toward Marathon and the future of Destiny. I’ve been tracking PvP population numbers using D2 Charlemagne, and it’s gone from around 40% of the player base during Forsaken to a steady 6% over the last year or so. Let’s be honest: PvP hasn’t had much impact on development since Shadowkeep. Again, that’s fine — but even if we estimate 300,000 PvP players annually, each spending around $100, that’s $30 million a year. Multiply that by six years, and we’re talking $180 million — not even counting Eververse revenue. It’s not unreasonable to ask for a public statement or a simple, sincere apology acknowledging this reality. No excuses — just own it, and let us know you’re grateful. That’s all.

There’s what something normally means and what something means when Bungie are involved. A ‘huge gift of bright dust’ can drop from an Eververse engram. Someone not familiar with ‘Bungie speak’ would think that would be a very significant amount of bright dust. It’s 1,000 bright dust and isn’t enough for a single weapon/armour ornament. -
Don’t worry, after the Edge of Fate numbers come out, there will be a lot of permanent “demotions”.
-
Lol youre complaining about the one per day when they literally told all of us that weapon drop rates from enemies and dungeon completions would be increased. They never once mentioned anything about being able to purchase multiple weapons at the top of the spire. This is on you for not reading.
From July 8 until July 15, "lootapalooza" will begin Increased currency rewards and weapon drops from enemies in all dungeons. New: Even more increased loot from the final boss chest when completing all encounters.
I was getting tons of drops, chest rewards, and materials in the dungeons on Tuesday. Not sure why you thought lootapalooza was for simply buying things at vendor.

The only team at Bungie allowed to cook is marketing. It’s unfortunate management won’t let the other departments cut loose.
