I stopped playing multiplayer with Reach. So I never gave it a shot with infinite. Since Reach the combat loop is just Titanfall 2, which I enjoy way more. It’s too fast, it’s too short of a TTK, it’s not fun like the good old Big Team Battle days. It’s not Halo. It’s Call of Halo. I personally waited and played the Infinite campaign a few months ago. I actually enjoyed what was there but what is there is just not a complete game. The biggest issue with the campaign is there’s only one biome. That is a huge let down as Halo is famous for amazing changing environments each “level.” Infinite really dropped the ball with lack of diversity with the campaign in a open world. Also there’s a whole section of the map that is unplayable. I think Microsoft went about it all wrong. They should have focused on the campaign cause while it’s not the best it is better than Halo 5. Had Microsoft gave the campaign away for free and folks had to purchase the multiplayer I think it would have incentivized them more.
