Bungie are serving us a cheapskate Destiny 3, change 80% of everything we know, but with the same maps, raids, enemies and gameplay as Destiny 2, then charge you what you would expect for a genuine Destiny 3 release, its a total scam rip off .... After day one D1 player, 20,000 hours of game time, hundreds of pounds just on releases and content, not buying into the bullshit that Bungie have been spitting out at us for several years .. For those of you that are buying in, good luck to you, I will continue to follow/monitor reviews, in the lame hope I have misjudged, honestly though, I don't think so ..

So glad I am not getting the new dlc. From what I see we are getting and how much it costs. My cash is going to other titles.

The crew that made destiny a great game are no longer employed at bungie, all we are left with is merely a tribute to the game

Guys! Did you know you can transform into a BALL in Edge of Faith!? OMFG guys! And you can ONLY do it on Kepler!! WTF guys! I don't think they've ever mentioned this before! DLC is going to be a joke.
-
20,000 hours!? Yikes.
-
But songie knows that there are a big percentage of people completely addicted and will play regardless and buy anything ! A lot of people are still in the denial stage .

I used to be in support of continuing with D2 rather than start fresh, more so by renaming D2 to something like Destiny: Become Legend or whatever, and then go from there. However, I think the PS4/XBONE are holding things back more than we thought. Reason being is the fact that something as simple as vault space is still an issue all these years later. Furthermore, the gunplay in Destiny has always been the biggest draw, but a little variation in combat never hurts. I’m of course talking about space-combat. But, even sparrow racing has been asked for by more people than content creators want to admit. Larger point; they add a tier system to gear and people think that’s enough to say this game is going MMO? I will play EoF and Renegades because I made a decision long ago to stick with Destiny until the end. With the recent announcement that Anthem — a game with just as much potential as Destiny — is officially shutting down, my hope for this franchise is at an all-time low.

People may have been more open to EoF if they had just launched it as D2.5 or D3 for current gen (next gen is only 2 years away after all) because people would be able to go back to what is if they don't like the new system. Common sense and business sense very seldom intersect so this is where we find ourselves. That said: EoF could be better than it sounds and the naysayers could end up eating their words so we'll see. Plenty of other games if this is the bullet to Destiny's head as most seem to think it is.

If I was you, I would be way more upset that my name ended in 1737 instead of 1738.

I'm so excited for this expansion. Crossbows!!!!!
-
I mean D3 was always going to be a downgrade. Going from like 20 Raid and Dungeons total… 8-9 planets. But D3 was gonna save us hahaha SURE
