I've been playing Destiny 2 since Season 10, and I played for 4 years on console and a year on PC, but only occasionally. The only thing I can think of as to why I got banned was because my Steam account was hacked (currently recovered). I sent screenshots of how they changed my email, how much it was hacked, and now that I've recovered it.
I played on Steam for 136 hours, and the last day I have it logged in was May 17, 2024. But I only played on Steam for 4 months because I downloaded the Xbox app to play Destiny 2 on PC. My last game played on Destiny 2 was on May 16, 2024, and the only possibility of why I got banned is because my account was hacked.
I have never used cheats and I never will, I love Destiny 2 so much that I created a second account to play because I like it a lot and it helped me in my most difficult moments. I also met several people who today I can say are my best friends.

Bungie will only really reply to people if they accepted the appeal or they need more information. 4-6+ weeks of no response and the ban still being in place means they have denied it, so unfortunately a lack of response is also them in a way giving a response of 'appeal denied'.

No response from Bungie is a response indicating that they are not going to turn over your ban.
